SEEING IN THE DARK
Imitating the Dog
For my work on the Imitating the Dogs project "Seeing In The Dark" I was asked to design and build three viewing boxes. These boxes serve as interactive installations that depict cinemas from different eras, specifically the 1920s-1940s. Each box is unique and designed to transport viewers back in time to a different cinematic experience.
When a viewer approaches a box, it activates and tells the story of those who visited the cinema during that era. This interactive element adds a layer of engagement to the installation, allowing viewers to connect with the past and imagine themselves as part of a different time and place.
