DUCK VISION
Personal project
with objects in public spaces. The artwork takes the form of a duck-shaped object that moves around on wheels, recording the world around it through a combination of a dash cam and a phone. Made from recycled toys and e-waste, the "Duck Vision" prop is a creative assemblage of materials that are transformed into a unique and captivating work of art.
As the duck moves around, it captures footage of the world from its own unique perspective, offering a whimsical and engaging look at the objects and spaces that make up our public environment. The artwork highlights the agency of objects and the ways in which they can shape and influence our experiences of the world.
In addition to its physical presence, "Duck Vision" also exists as an animated 3D scan on the internet, blurring the boundaries between physical and digital spaces. The artwork challenges viewers to think about the ways in which we interact with technology and the potential for objects to take on new forms and meanings in the digital age.
